Systems in Action: How They Work Together

Apple Haven’s systems aren’t just sustainable, they’re interconnected:

Solar panels → feed into microgrid storage, powering
Mobility hubs + water pumps → sustain
Vertical farms on rooftops of CLT homes

Everything loops, Nothing is wasted.

Scalability & Global Adaptation

Could Apple Haven work for a city of 5 million?

Yes!!! How:

Modular microgrids scale per district

Prefab CLT housing reduces construction timelines for mass housing

Closed loop water systems are already used in industries and can be city-wide

Mobility hubs support EV buses and railways in high-density areas

In warmer climates, solar panels thrive. In wetter areas, rainwater collection can be added to the loop. Apple Haven is adaptable, not just ideal.

What Didn’t Make the Cut And Why

I considered:

Wind turbines: Needed too much space and consistent wind

Concrete eco-bricks: Still involved cement, so we went with CLT

Desalination plants: Effective but not sustainable for inland cities

I chose realistic, science-backed, scalable options instead.
